Roles

An organization can have several people. Everyone signs in with their own uivoid account; what they can do depends on their role in that organization.

RolePortal & CLIMCP servers (uivoid login)
ownerEverything: projects, tools, keys, credentials, the team, roles and owner invitesread, write and destructive tools
adminProjects, tools, keys and credentials; invite members and admins; remove membersread, write and destructive tools
memberRead-only: can view projects, tools, keys and logsread and write tools — no destructive ones

Role changes and removals apply to connected MCP clients on their next tool call; there's no need to wait for tokens to expire.

Invite someone

In the portal, open Settings in the top navigation, choose Invite member, enter their email and a role, and copy the link. From the terminal: npx uivoid team invite teammate@company.com --role admin.

uivoid doesn't send email — share the link yourself. Each link works once, only for the invited address, and expires after 7 days. Inviting the same address again replaces the previous link, and pending invites can be revoked from Settings or with npx uivoid team revoke <email>.

Accept an invite

Open the link. If you already have an account, sign in with the invited email and choose Join. Otherwise create your account on that page — you join the organization without creating one of your own. From the terminal: npx uivoid invite accept <link>.

Switch organizations

If you belong to more than one organization, switch between them from the account menu (your avatar, top right). The Overview, Projects and Settings pages, and new projects, follow the selected organization. In the CLI, pass --org <slug> or set a default with npx uivoid org use <slug>.

Change roles, remove people, leave

Owners change roles from Settings (or npx uivoid team role <email> <role>). Owners can remove anyone and admins can remove members (npx uivoid team remove <email>). Anyone can leave (npx uivoid team leave) except the organization's last owner — promote someone else to owner first.
